,Position: Senior Commercialisation Project ManagerBased: Haddenham, UK or Florence, ItalyThis role aims to lead the internal effort to win and flawlessly deliver EMEA Flavour Solutions (business to business) commercialisation projects. These include launches of new product innovations and product/packaging changes manufactured out of plants in the EMEA region.Reporting to the Head of Commercialisation, you will be leading an internal cross-functional team of department experts. This pivotal role ensures speed and innovation remain a core competency and that the team is kept focused, energized, and on track to meet the objectives of our projects. The candidate should be able to handle multiple priorities, in a fast-paced environment. You will be managing one direct report which is based in Italy.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive commercialisation projects to ensure that they are delivered on time and in full.
  • Project manage a wide range of projects in a well-organised, co-operative way, with strong attention to detail.
  • Understand and communicate priorities & risks clearly, to drive action and engagement.
  • Support the team by resolving issues quickly, escalating effectively if needed
  • Build new processes and drive improvements to existing processes to enable us to continuously improve the speed and quality of delivery of commercialisation projects
  • Supporting Pipeline Meetings as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  • Provide training and support to direct reports and other members of the commercialisation team to enable them to grow
  • Seek development opportunities for the team and lead recruitment activities as required
  • Engage with stakeholders effectively to keep them closely connected to our commercialisation programme
  • Secure stakeholder support for process improvements and assistance to unblock issues that are preventing project progression

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Previous project management experience within a FMCG or related environment, leading cross-functional teams
  • Line management, managing team members in remote locations
  • Fluent English
  • Desired: PRINCE 2, PMP, Prosci Practitioner or another relevant certificate
  • Desired: Salesforce experience
  • Desired: Integrated Business Planning (IBP) experience
  • University degree holder in Business Management, Supply Chain or another related field
  • Professional qualification in project management and, ideally, change management
  • Experienced and technically competent project manager who can lead cross functional teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to lead major projects and change initiatives under ambiguous and fast-moving conditions
  • Can understand Commercial’s strategic priorities, explain them clearly to others to gain their support and ensure that projects and resources are prioritised effectively to deliver the strategic priorities
  • Builds credibility and positive working relationships across all levels and geographies
  • Can influence stakeholders to secure support for process improvements, key decisions and assistance to unblock issues to deliver the programme effectively
  • Influencing others using the Growth & Change Mindset
  • Able to design and implement process improvements successfully, securing support and resources as required
  • Digitally savvy, being able to leverage different IT tools as they become available
