A Cloud Solutions Architect is a pre-sales CSD individual working with customers in a value co-creation process and with internal sales and delivery teams, resulting in the design and demo Managed Services across in technology and cloud portfolio areas. Key focus areas are Cloud Services, End User Services, Application Infrastructure Services, Customer Experience, Service Management, DevSecOps Processes/Tools, Data API Integration secure and hybrid delivery modeling. Designs often involve consulting and customized multi-product/multi-vendor solution elements with hardware, software and public cloud services.The Cloud Solution Architect will apply both solution design and sales skills to engage and help close opportunities with decision-makers. They spend a substantial amount of time in front of clients supporting other internal sales expert teams such as sales, client partners and services delivery teams; the delivery teams that will manage the client’s solution, continuous improvement, and deliverables. Building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with this virtual team, fully understanding the client and the industry in which they operate will contribute to the success of this role.Working at NTTThe primary responsibility of the Cloud Solution Architect is the design of competitive, innovative, secure, multi-year, viable CSD Managed Services solutions and associated costing inputs to commercial models. Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Assists the sales staff in evaluating potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. May create detailed design and specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. May build a mini application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. May provide multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, cloud services and related technology components.Key roles and responsibilities:

• Accountable for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
• Map the client’s requirements against proposed set of service elements and architectures and lead the end-to-end solution development (Cloud Services, End user Services, Application management services, Technology Infrastructure, SIAM, SLA, ITSM leading practices).
• Develop and execute a consulting approach that results in a consolidated statement of requirements, scope, statement of work, transition documents and costing based need for change, role of IT, definition of the AS-IS versus desired state (Future Mode of operation defined), gap analysis and roadmap, highlighted impacts, consequences, and benefits of the intended transformation (people, process, technology)
• Design or lead the design of complex managed service solutions to meet client requirements by integrating technology and service design across multiple CSD offers and products, aligned with our platform capabilities whilst mitigating risk
• Responsible for the service design deliverables of the solution and interfacing with the offer development, R&D and delivery organization and partners to ensure supportability and profitability
• Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures blueprints, design standards, patterns, and methodology.
• Lead the validation processes by obtaining sign-off from technical, service and costing stakeholders.
• Support the sales teams in presenting an architecture solution to clients with a focus on cost savings or uncovering other client growth opportunities. This will require an ability to discover and analyze the client’s current architecture, platforms, and operating models.
• Share client outcomes and market conditions with other stakeholders so that the global offering leads, and Managed Services community can evolve strategies and develop innovative solutions for the future.
• Coach, mentor, lead and act as advisor and decision maker in service design situations

Knowledge, skills and attributes

• Detailed knowledge of Cloud Managed Services portfolio and delivery models, including global and distributed delivery models.
• Master major technologies in IaaS : networking, security, storage, computing, virtualization and cloud
• Comfortable working with PaaS, CaaS and native cloud services
• Comfortable working with costing models in partnership with sales and finance stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge on how specific infrastructures and application software are deployed in line with relevant methodologies and frameworks (ACE).
• Ability to develop and leverage their specialist knowledge of reference architectures.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains.
• Proficiency in Application and Cloud/Infrastructure Managed Services.
• Ability to communicate potentially improvements and value of our solutions to all levels of stakeholders; especially C-suite decision makers.
• Proven ability to work within a team, contributing to the success of the team while making a personal contribution, especially in a matrixed organization.
• Extensive knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, OS’s and infrastructure / cloud designs.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Fluency in Dutch/French and good verbal and written knowledge of the other language as well as English.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Qualification in Information Technology or Information Systems
• Strong understanding and foundational certifications level on emerging trends in technology, Managed Services Integration, Application Development – DevSecOps, Cloud Native Service Applications, Microsoft Development platforms and Open-Source Software, Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP, Data Analytics, Containers, RPA, IoT and Intelligent Automation
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to discover and analyze all input and data
• SAFe Scaled Agile certification advantageous

Experience required:

• Solution planning and deal shaping expertise, with the ability to create compelling value propositions as part of the solution design.
• Proof of structuring large, multi-year profitable contracts.
• You will need to demonstrate an impressive track record of designing managed services solutions to large enterprise accounts.
• Experience working in an environment with global delivery and in multiple geographies and industries.
• Proven client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management.
• Extensive experience in integrating the solution for the project with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns and best practices.
• Solid experience working in an agile development environment.
