A Day in the Life

The Senior Clinical Specialist will provide superior customer service, clinical support and practice professional and effective territory management for our Victoria region. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral member of our highly successful Deep Brain Stimulation team. If you have strong clinical support/ theatre nursing experience and interested in joining a collaborative, professional, dedicated and tightly-knit team, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining a professional image for Medtronic in the marketplace

  • Provide regular, meaningful and concise reports to the National Sales Manager

  • Support theatre cases and provide training and education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff on our products – products updates, trial and in-services.

  • Gather market intelligence by observation, discussion or research.

  • Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key customers.

  • Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained

  • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products

  • Actively seek to develop and expand on territory management and selling skills

  • Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders

  • Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed

  • Attend conferences and trade displays as required

Must-Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in nursing, general science, business or similar

  • Significant experience in clinical setting for example, nursing or allied health or commercial setting (medical devices)

  • Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver’s licence required
