Post Date : 28-Mar-2024 Close Date : 11-Apr-2024PTSB is one of Ireland’s leading retail and SME banks, with an innovative range of products and services powered through an evolving digital landscape, our focus is centred on ensuring we deliver what our customers, colleagues and communities need to be successful.Within Group Operations, the BI & Automation team undertake a critical role in supporting the design and implementation of the business strategy for the division, working with key stakeholders within the business and across the Group.The purpose of the Senior Change Analyst role is to work with teams across the Operations division to identify and build data and reporting solutions that will give people the information they need to carry out their business processes efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes and help identify and define new reporting and data solutions.
• Design and delivery of data solutions and taking the lead on critical projects.
• Support the change in enhancing the existing reporting infrastructure, methods, automation and reporting tools.
• Assist with the coaching and mentoring of junior team members
• Analyse research to gain insights into the business strategy, and inform ongoing development and project delivery.
• Research new technologies, versions and applications to drive efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Excellent SQL and database skills (e.g. MS SQL Server, Teradata).
• Have several years of experience working in a reporting environment, developing/designing reports and analysing complex data.
• Experience working with large amounts of data from multiple sources including structured/unstructured data; legacy systems etc.
• Numerically proficient and excellent attention to detail.
• Several years¿ experience working in a reporting/data solutions team delivering projects.
• Talented in presenting data visually to different types of audiences (senior / junior / technical / non-technical) to communicate the message effectively.
• Comfortable explaining complex ideas in a simple and straightforward manner.
• Relevant 3rd Level qualification in a related field (Data Science / Computer Science) is an advantage – but hands on experience will also be recognised.
• An ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner
• Excellent documentation, report writing & presentation skills
• Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn
• Highly organised and demonstrates an ability to work both collectively and independently in a multi-task and multi-focus environment
• Professional approach and good understanding of governance, risk management and risk assessment and control practices within Financial Services and in a regulated environment
