Senior Bridge Engineers – Dublin and LeedsRoughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit senior bridge engineers with 8-15 years’ experience, primarily in the area of cable-stayed and moveable bridge, for roles within our bridges team.Job type: Permanent, with full-time, part-time or flexible working options availableLocation: Sandyford, D. 18, Woodford, D.17 or Otley, LeedsSalary: CompetitiveRequirementsHonours degree in civil/structural engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)A minimum of eight to fifteen years’ relevant experienceChartered engineerAbility to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary teamFlexible, motivated and focusedStrong technical knowledge and engineering skills/proficiency of bridge engineering software (analysis and design)Working knowledge of Eurocodes in the field of bridge/structural designExcellent attention to detailAbility to produce quality design outputsFluent or highly proficient in spoken and written EnglishDesirableExperience of working in a multidisciplinary environment with tight deadlinesExcellent numerical and analytical skillsExcellent report writing skillsAbout Roughan & O’DonovanRoughan and O’Donovan (ROD) is a leading civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancy.
