We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Senior Asst, Finance Support to join our team!

What You Will Do:

Responsible for delivering quality accounting/finance related services to P&WPR customers/peers with support functions directly related but not limited to accounting/finance operations, while maintaining full compliance with company, government, customer, and regulatory policies & procedures within a controlled environment. Performs administrative functions related to or for Finance divisions and Logistics. Maintains proper documentation of Finance activities and operations. 

JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-THOSE NOT DELEGABLE

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS:

  • Supports one or more of the functional activities within Finance.
  • Resolve routine and less complex questions and problems with guidance and direction.
  • Analyze and prepare reports.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Perform administrative functions related to or for the Finance division.
  • Ensure invoicing is correct for final submission to customers.
  • Maintains proper documentation of Finance activities and operations.
  • Applies intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc.
  • May assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of technical/business support employees.
  • Manage all information requests in a timely and cordial manner with strong customer service orientation.
  • Identify and report quality non-conformances using assigned tool.
  • Compliance with Ethics, CORE and EH&S trainings.

OTHER MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS:

  • Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE Methodology and support AS9100D efforts.
  • Support project management activities.
  • Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
  • Oral and written English fluency.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and 2+ years of experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.
