We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Senior Asst, Finance Support to join our team!

What You Will Do:

Responsible for delivering quality accounting/finance related services to P&WPR peers with support functions directly related but not limited to accounting/finance operations, while maintaining full compliance with company, government, customer, and regulatory policies & procedures within a controlled environment. May include but not limited to one or more activities related to costs and budget/EVMS, allocation, system set up, transactions, controls, metrics, reporting, and/or small special projects. Required to maintain information confidentiality, lean & efficient processes, and continuous service flow. 

JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-THOSE NOT DELEGABLE

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS:

  • Develop and track metrics of financial performance.
  • Determine financial status by comparing plans and forecasts with actual results.
  • Support the preparation of budgets or any other financial presentation.
  • Under direct supervision, use detailed verbal and written instructions to perform low complexity and repetitive tasks.
  • Manage all information requests in a timely and cordial manner with strong customer service orientation.
  • Use available systems to execute transactions, manage documentation, information and records.
  • Responsible for following established procedures to execute quality and timely delivery services.
  • Resolve routine and less complex questions and problems with guidance and direction.
  • Provide accurate performance information for metrics-based reporting.
  • Support procedures update, provide assistance to co-workers and new hires with guidance and direction.
  • May assist in some advanced tasks as part of training and development.
  • May adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet changes in requirements.
  • Compile information and provide accurate reporting, including performance metrics.
  • Assigned to small projects or discrete tasks within functional discipline.
  • Support contribution of their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline.

OTHER MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS:

  • Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using Quality tools and support AS9100 efforts. 
  • Obtain Internal Company Quality certification
  • Support project management activities.
  • Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
  • English fluency (verbal and written).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and 2+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications with an Advanced level in Excel.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
