This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. University of Iowa Health Care department of Health Care Information Systems is seeking a Senior Application Developer to provide technical leadership, direction, and technical support for the development, configuration, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Epic System software related to quality measure and regulatory requirements. This position includes working with project management groups, key stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and end users regularly.
Specific responsibilities of this person include:
Point person facilitating the collaboration between the application owners and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and lead project teams through required build needs based on quality measure and regulatory requirements.
Review measures to stay up to date with the new requirements for CMS/quality initiatives, CMS final rules, etc. and validate that the Epic build and current workflows meet the requirements of the new specifications.
Build relationships and work closely with Iowa Health Care, Community Connect Iowa, legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure submission of measures is lawful and compliant.
