Fraud prevention systems are becoming more and more dependent on machine learning. Traditional rule based engines are no longer enough in this dynamically changing environment where fraud patterns change from day-to-day.  We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI Fraud Prevention team to fight fraud with the power of Data.

As a company one of our key areas is fraud prevention. We enable online merchants to sell more, earn more, and maximize every dollar they invest in risk management and customer acquisition. With us, you will experience a great variance of datasets – we protect Clients in areas of e-commerce, crypto, ridesharing, digital lending, BNPL and many more.

As a AI Fraud Prevention team we:

• Speak Python.
• Have experienced data scientists, machine learning engineers and Python developers onboard.
• Have a start-up attitude to problem solving and are allergic to over-engineering.
• Like to hack around and build our own set of tools in line with MLOps best practices.
• Practice applied machine learning – we continuously research new algorithms & look for new data sources.
• Have fun as we do so.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who will work with the team to:

• Build a product that helps detect:
  • fraudulent behavior in payments
  • identity theft and account takeover
• Investigate fraud patterns – dissect data, look for hints of fraudulent activity.
• Research new algorithms & look for new data sources.
• Contribute to our internal tools  – the idea of automation is close to our hearts.
• Train, evaluate and monitor ML models that process millions of transactions
• Participate in data science projects that directly impact our Product and clients’ bottomline.

What we would like to see (essential):

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Science.
• Fluent command of Python for data science (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Familiarity with SQL, Postgres-specifically is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of statistics.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and business mindset.
• Very good command of English (B2 is a must).

Things we would LOVE to see (desirable):

• Previous experience in software development or data engineering.
• Familiarity with credit scoring or fraud detection.
• Previous experience in Attention-based architectures (Transformers, MoEs)
