Role: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: BuckinghamStart date: September 2024Key Stage: 3&4Contract: Full time, PermanentAbout the school:This opportunity is located at an innovative secondary school rated “Outstanding” in Buckingham. The ideal candidate will play an integral part in inspiring SEND students to reach their full potential and develop their skills in a highly supportive school.Key responsibilities:

• Plan and teach lessons, ranging from 1-on-1 sessions to small groups
• Prepare teaching materials, write reports
• Manage behaviour, talk with staff and parents about children’s progress
• Work closely with specialist teaching services

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with SEN children
• Good knowledge of SEN and passion to develop
• Able to commit to working fixed days – full or part time
• Holds a DBS or ability to obtain DBS
