The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.

Microsoft aspires to help our customers achieve their own digital transformation, leveraging the power of the Microsoft cloud solutions and services. To help drive this effort, Microsoft has the Customer Success dedicated team that plays a key role in helping Microsoft customers achieve this digital transformation through successful adoption of Microsoft Cloud solutions and Services.

The Customer Success team drives change management and adoption activities with key business decision makers and IT decision makers, helping reduce implementation risk, driving usage of existing solutions, and identifying opportunities to accelerate the path for customers to realize business value from their investments.

We are looking for a Security Community and Communications Manage r to build and lead the customer success community of field architects and their leaders.

Microsoft will invest tens of billions of dollars in cybersecurity, providing its customers with solutions that integrate across the ecosystem by connecting all of your identities, endpoints, apps, emails, docs and clouds to help close critical gaps in coverage, reduce risk, and save costs with a streamlined security portfolio.

The role will entail extensive engagement with field teams to understand their needs and build a community program and rhythm of business to ensure they have timely access to strategy, skilling information, and a feedback loop to both business and engineering leadership.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the community of field architects and managers. Including individual contributor architects, their managers, and their area leadership.

  • This will include the planning of editorial calendars to ensure we have a regular rhythm of communication prioritizing key elements to accelerate business results.

  • Additionally, will include responsibilities for coordinating our fiscal year launch and landing plans inclusive of assets, meeting coordination and delivery

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s), marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

  • ORMaster’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of professional experience including business management, offering/product strategy, marketing, sales, services, technology implementation, or related field

  • Effective communication and field program execution skills, with the ability to energize others

  • Ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to work through ambiguous situations with can-do attitude and proactively determine creative solutions.

Business Strategy IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 – $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 – $183,000 per year.
