Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Purpose and primary objectives: Scrum Master
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

  • Facilitating planning and alignment in a transparent, collaborative manner (within and across teams); driving team engagement, performance and agile capability uplift; and helping teams progress their goals by tracking metrics and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Key influencer for the adoption of agile delivery within the team, working with other Scrum Masters and members of the PMO, continually looking to improve ways of working
  • Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it):
  • Other responsibilities – Budgets, targets, equipment etc (please specify):

Key Skills/Knowledge:

  • Facilitating planning and alignment in a transparent, collaborative manner (within and across teams); driving team engagement, performance and agile capability uplift; and helping teams progress their goals by tracking metrics and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Key influencer for the adoption of agile delivery within the team, working with other Scrum Masters and members of the PMO, continually looking to improve ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Wide experience on Scrum Master activity
  • Ability to drive the program independently.
  • Any certification e.g. CSM, PSM should be good.

Soft skills:

  • Goal/outcomes orientated
  • Quick learner
  • Resourceful – can make things happen and find workarounds where problems occur
  • Able to challenge stakeholders diplomatically but robustly when appropriate
  • Can work independently with very little direction and as part of a team

Is not scared of flagging problems and collaborating on a solution
Experience required: Need experienced resources with the above skillsets.
