What You Can Expect

We are seeking a talented Sales Support Representative with medical device sales experience to join our THORACIC team at Zimmer Biomet, covering Metro and Regional Victoria and Tasmania. The role involves enhancing sales objectives by providing excellent customer service, fostering strong relationships with hospital staff, managing engagement with healthcare professionals, and offering case management support as needed.

How You’ll Create Impact

  • Ensure instrumentation and implants are available to meet customer operating schedules

  • Facilitate and organize training for all hospital stakeholders (e.g. surgeons, scrub staff, HCA’s, Sterile Services Staff) to ensure safe and effective use of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants.

  • Be an onsite resource within customer premises, enabling Sales Representatives to concentrate on developing new business opportunities either elsewhere or laterally inside the account.

  • Maintain excellent relationships with key accounts and seek to continue leveraging existing business relationships, including actively pursuing new potential users of Zimmer Biomet products to gain further business.

  • Ensure that consignment stock rotation is executed efficiently with minimum quarterly, full account audit and reorder check’s on a daily basis.

  • Ensure that instrument sets are always in good and safe working order.

  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory, Quality and Legal requirements

  • Provide each account with training material and an accurate stock list.

  • Work outside normal working hours where required.

  • Ensure returns and in field movements carried out following SOP’s.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Degree in Physiotherapy, Nursing, Allied Health, Paramedicine, Osteopathy or related discipline.

  • Previous operating theatre experience is highly regarded

  • Ability to absorb, comprehend and present technical information on assigned products

  • Outstanding communication, organisational & time management skills

  • You will ideally come from one of the following career backgrounds: Physiotherapist, Ortho Scrub/Scout Nurse, Radiology, Biomedical Engineering or similar technical fields, other competitor clinical or sales reps looking to move into hip & knee joint replacement specialties.

This position requires regular travel across the TERRITORY, so the ability to travel and a valid Driver License are required. Applicants MUST be eligible to live and work in COUNTRY.
