In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with customers, offering expert advice and solutions from top technology products and services. You’ll become a go-to expert, providing valuable insights and exceptional service to support their business needs. With comprehensive training, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of the latest tech and programs to provide exceptional service.This role is perfect for someone with 1-4 years of customer facing/sales experience who’s eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.This position does not direct cold calling.What your role as a Sales Specialist will involve:Sell – primarily by telephone – products and services to customers, maintaining and improving on revenue and profit, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service.Develop strong knowledge of the relevant products and service offered by the Vendors within the portfolioProvide information on product and service offerings by the vendorBecome a Trusted Advisor for both internal and external customersProvide availability, discontinuation & special offersProvide pricing and quotations to customersFollow up on sales leads and opportunitiesAccurately manage, develop and monitor deal progressEngage in sales focus days at Ingram Micro and at customers where necessaryTo set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experiencePrevious experience in a Sales, Account Management, Customer Advisor enviromentAbility to communicate effectively, over the phone, via email and face to faceHave drive and be motivated to understand their subject matter, to continuously learn the new technology releases in an ever-changing environmentGood PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel. CRM experience preferableA desire and ability to understand and improve systems, programmes and processesWe Are Ingram Micro
