Express Employment Professionals is now hiring to fulfill a Sales Representative opening for a local business based out of the Batavia, OH area. This is a full time remote role with flexible hours, designed for a passionate sales talent looking for a career role. This is a remote role, however the Sales Rep must be located in the Cincinnati, OH area.

Overview: This is a multi-faceted company focused on pet care, pet ownership, and pet management. The Sales Representative joining this team will be targeting advertisers for a pet-based magazine that is available in both print and digital formats. The Sales Rep will also have a targeted sales focus for the installation of pet waste stations and receptacles. This role will be a dynamic personality with a passion for community engagement and sales (and pets!).

Core Functions:

Lead generation, contact, and introduction into the sales pipeline
Develop understanding of advertising spaces, packages, and options
Connect with new/prospect advertisers to build advertising partnerships
Connect with local community spaces and commercial prospects to introduce pet waste receptacles
Connect with prospects and clients via phone, electronic/written formats, and in-person appointments
Maintain calendar of appointments, follow ups, and deadlines
Create, present, negotiate, and close sales contracts
Maintain thorough documentation and organized records of activity

Requirements:

1-2+ years sales experience preferred
Home computer and reliable internet set up required
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Experience with cold-calling and lead generation/ad-chase
Fluency with Microsoft Office, virtual tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service in all formats: phone, written, and in-person
Professional email and phone etiquette
Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
Ability to schedule and attend appointments with prospects and clients as required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri. Flexible Hours, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Salary: $50k base salary, + 30% sales commission
