Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Maldron Hotel Dublin AirportWe have a fantastic new vacancy for Sales & Marketing Coordinator in the excellent Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport.The finest Hotel at Dublin Airport, Maldron Hotel is situated within 3 minutes’ walk of Terminals 1 and 2. We offer 251 rooms to facilitate all types of travel; standard rooms, executive rooms, family rooms and interconnecting rooms.Objective of the RoleReporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will provide support to the Sales & Marketing team, thereby assisting in achieving overall set KPI’s.We Offer:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To provide administration and sales support to the Sales & Marketing Manager & Team
• To ensure efficient and effective administration systems and procedures are implemented and maintained within the Sales & Marketing Department
• To assist in the compilation and production of reports, including the Business Plan, Sales Reports and monthly reports of client production figures, P&L Reports, Forecasting Reports, Budgets and Sales Activity Plans
• To action activities from the Sales Plan as directed by the Sales & Marketing Manager
• To perform all necessary administration work, including follow up on sales enquiries/ calls, sales call/ research documentation, daily, weekly and monthly reports, issuing contracts, responding to information requests, maintaining and updating files, database and company, GDS, commission & airline trackers, maintaining filing system, all activities entered into Alkimii CRM etc.
• Provide cover and assistance to the Meeting & Events Department as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in administration within a hotel environment preferred but not essential
• Working knowledge of Opera & Alkiimi Events preferred but not essential
• Working knowledge of Excel preferred
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced but extremely rewarding environment
• Good knowledge of digital marketing preferred but not essential
• Be standards driven and customer focused
• The successful candidate must be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, presentation, organisational skills, be able to demonstrate a keen aptitude towards the job and have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
