As a Sales Associate you will provide administrative assistance to the Australian Small Business Acquisition Team in International Card Services. This position operates within a very fast-paced fun environment and requires maturity, flexibility and patience to respond to ever-changing needs.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Associate provides administrative assistance to the Australia Small Business Acquisition Team in International Card Services. The primary purpose is to support the Directors and team in delivering against their individual client & collective team sales goals.

The Sales Associate is required to not only engage with a diverse group of Acquisitions team members, but also work with many internal Blue Box Partners and occasionally externally with clients & other suppliers.

The Small Business Acquisition segment comprises 9 sales teams with an FTE of 85 and is one of the largest sales teams in the company. The position operates within a very fast-paced fun environment requiring maturity, flexibility and patience to respond to ever-changing needs. The role also requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to use analytical skills to create and edit power point decks as well as excel.

Sales Support:

  • Maintain management of the channels lead management to drive efficient lead distribution across all key lead sources

  • Management & understanding of pipeline management principles ensuring appropriate accountability of lead management practices across the channel

  • This includes monitoring Leader channels and where required re-distribution of Leads.

  • Development & Customization of National Team meeting and Leader Meeting presentations and reporting where additional analysis/information is required. This includes the ability to be familiar with the use of Powerpoint and leverage this effectively to create content

  • Co-coordinating RSVPs to client events

  • Act as information/reference point for suppliers and internal customers

  • Support mandatory compliance query management across SBS signings to ensure fast and efficient resolution across all internal compliance queries

  • ACQ reporting to support Sales Team & Director as requested

Administration:

  • Provide analytical support to leaders in reaching Acquisition team goals (e.g. Oneforce Dashboard Reporting, pipeline management reporting, daily outlook reporting).

  • Support the onboarding of new SBS employees in setting up all the internal system access, tools and office orientation

  • Administrative support to Directors – complete TEV’s, access and manage calendar and e-mail and to support others in periods of absence; Also support with confidential matters with team members

  • General office management duties such as stationery ordering; maintaining up to date marketing materials

  • Setting up Webex meetings and managing large meetings with 100 attendees through Webex Events

Addition Information:

  • Ability to handle large volumes of work with competing deadlines for multiple Sales Leaders/Partners & Directors of Department

  • Demonstrated strength or ability to gain sound knowledge Oneforce CRM, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong internal stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate effectively across all parties

  • Shows ability to provide guidance on prioritization and solutions for linking of customer and Amex goals

  • Ability to make good business decisions without direct authority across all areas of Blue Box

  • Ability to build strong relationships across the Blue Box

  • Ability to support innovation & change within the Sales team

  • Has or can develop a good understanding of financial services industry

  • Excellent verbal & written business communication skills

  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Minimum requirement to have completed Higher School Certificate or equivalent
