Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for sustainable waste management solutions. The role will also encourage to build up strong customer and client relationships. The role will be based in Kentstown, Navan, Co Meath however we have a wide range of customers further afield and the role may require you to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in managing inquiries, preparing sales proposals, and maintaining customer databases.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide information, resolve inquiries, and facilitate the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prepare sales reports, and update customer information in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the sales team, providing administrative support, coordinating meetings, and assisting in the development of sales presentations and materials.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and nurture relationships to enhance future sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • +3 years proven experience as a Sales Assistant or relevant role.
  • Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge or interest in renewable technologies is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the waste management industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
