The main role of the Sales & Admissions Officer will be to promote designated programmes and develop the number of participants enrolled, ensuring the quality of the prospects and candidate experience and a smooth running of the enrolment process.The role collaborates within a defined Sales & Marketing strategy and plan, for the School and the programmes. It interacts with the Academic team regarding candidates admission. As first contact with the customer, it contributes to continuous quality improvement towards our Learning & Development Hub.About Us
Solvay Lifelong Learning (SLL) is the executive education branch of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBSEM) at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). We specialise in post-graduate education through open-enrolment and company-specific programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Prospection● Provide personalised support to prospective learners throughout the admissions process.● Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, offering accurate and timely information.● Guide applicants through the application process, including document submission and deadline management.● Advise on educational financing options such as subsidies, educational leave, and tax deductions.● Present detailed information about programmes, admission requirements, curricula, and career opportunities to prospective learners.● Organise admissions events, including open and experience days, webinars, campus tours, and information sessions.● Represent the programme at recruitment events both on and off-campus.Candidate Experience● Review and evaluate applications to ensure they meet admission requirements.● Make admission recommendations based on established criteria.● Coordinate interviews and assessments of prospective learners in collaboration with academic directors and/or other stakeholders alumni/partners.● Ensure regular follow-up to maximise conversion.● Manage invoicing for accepted learners and ensure financial tracking aligns with the programme’s P&L.● Establishing and maintaining relationships with programme participants to create a community of ambassadors driving net-promoter score and word of mouth enrolment.CRM Management and Reporting● Maintain accurate records of prospective learners and applicants in the CRM system.● Track and report on recruitment activities and application statuses.● Provide regular updates and reports to the Executive Committee (Exco).Collaboration and Professional Development● Collaborate with colleagues to meet enrolment goals and ensure a unified approach to learner recruitment.● Participate in professional development to stay updated on best practices in sales and recruitment.Requirements● Bachelor’s degree in sales, business development, or a related field.● Previous experience in sales of 2 years is highly valued.● Strong negotiation and relationship-building track-record.● Ability to work independently and collaboratively.● Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably HubSpot).● Proficiency in French and English.● Willingness to occasionally work during evenings and weekends as required.● Limited amount of travelling.Skills● Customer service orientation – Student success in mind.● Effective communication and presentation skills● Strong organisational and time management skills● Interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, incl. corporate or international cultures● Attention to detail● Proficiency in admissions software and Microsoft Office SuiteBenefitsWe offer:
