Job description

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based in St Albans, Herts.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.The Role:

  • Process sales orders and enquiries efficiently via phone, email, and online systems
  • Ensure accuracy by checking data in orders, quotes, and invoices
  • Processing orders and producing paperwork for shipment in a timely manner
  • Liaise with customers to clarify information, answer questions, and resolve any issues
  • Maintain and update customer and sales records in a CRM system
  • Provide administrative support to the engineering team, such as scheduling and stock control
  • Liaise with couriers, obtaining quotes and arranging shipments both nationally and internationally
  • Working with the bookkeeper to ensure customer and supplier payments are made and up to date
  • Stay up to date on company products and services
  • Ensure suitable stock and office supplies are ordered

Qualifications:

  • GCSE/O level educated as a minimum, A level preferred however a degree in business administration, or a related field is advantageous
  • Proven experience with CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Positive and professional demeaner
  • Adaptability
  • Able to work on own initiative

Advantageous skills: (Not essential)

  • Experience on the filtration industry
  • Experience with Cin7 software
  • Experience of international shipping of goods
