Who will you be working with?

We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health, and Environmental Administrator to join our team in Doncaster. Our Doncaster team supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

Role: Safety, Health, and Environmental Administrator

Salary: £Competitive

Location: Doncaster (On-site)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 16:30pm, and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pm

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (plus 8 bank holidays)

How will you make a difference?

The Safety, Health, and Environment Administrator will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Safety, Health, and Environment management system across all activities.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Assist the SHE teams in the implementation of the Group Safety, Health, and Environment management system.

  • Support in the implementation of Risk/CoSHH assessments.

  • Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental training.

  • Support with site audits.

  • Participate and support in accident and incident investigations.

  • Liaise with the company’s Occupational Health Provider; arrange health surveillance medicals and action findings.

  • Support the Company’s alcohol and drug screening programme.

  • Communicate all relevant Safety, Health, and Environment information to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Promote a positive safety culture.

  • Attend Safety Committee meetings.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in health, safety, or quality sectors.

  • Experience in KPI collation.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to efficiently organise workload.

  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
