Join our visionary team as the next Road Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Kuehne+Nagel Australia!
Your Role
We are looking for a driven Road Logistics Customer Care Specialist to join our growing Road Logistics team, based in Melbourne. In collaboration with various key stakeholders, you will perform the day-to-day operational tasks, attend customer sites as an implant and be the day-to-day expert on our clients.
Your Responsibilities
To provide proper costing responses to rate enquiries
To ensure day to day operations run smoothly, ensuring profiles are updated into relevant systems, + that door-to-door monitoring of status is in place at every step including close coordination with endorsed carriers.
To establish and strengthen operational relations with customer contact(s) through daily interactions, regular calls or visits + proactively advising + consulting to ensure customer satisfaction.
To document, resolve, analyze all complaints + then identify, share + eliminate root causes.
To ensure that shipments are profitable, highlighting with any loss-making shipments to the most senior manager, obtaining prior approval before proceeding.
To liaise with customers directly, resolving feedback in a manner that provides explanations, puts the customer at ease + demonstrates that the right corrective actions are put in place to prevent a reoccurrence.

Strong understanding of operational activities and systems.
Prior experience in a similar role and/or industry is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate effective to internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical + problem-solving skills, along with ability to work under pressure with great time management.
Demonstrable tenacity, a strong desire to help our customer and provide great service
