Warren Street, Great Portland Street and Regent’s Park underground stations are all within a 5-minute walk.** Salary package: from £26,000 up to £26,780// Hotel discounts // Health cash back plan // Meals on duty // Pension scheme // Loyalty rewards and referral bonuses // many more**Reservations AgentMission: To ensure that all telephone and email enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. To ensure that the Daily Task duties are completed on the daily basis. To demonstrate Melia values at all times when dealing with guests, bookers and colleagues. To demonstrate the highest attention to details when performing reservations tasks and to recognize Sales leads and potential business.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:· Be fully conversant with all systems and computer procedures related to Reservations.· Answer all telephone calls within three (3) rings and to deal with all calls in a friendly and professional manner and to company standards.· Prioritise any correspondence from the day before and from external guests and clients, to ensure efficient Customer service.· To be aware of current and future availability on a daily basis, as well as any selling strategy proposed by Revenue with its restrictions.· Be up to date with all short and long term promotions available at the hotel· Be fully familiar with the hotel facilities and services and to promote these whenever possible· Respect any confidential information received regarding guests, staff and management, ensuring compliance with regulations at all timesWhat we are looking for?· Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial· Opera Knowledge· Prior experience in a similar role.The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.Because belonging to the great Meliá family is being VIP
