Previous experience in a similar role is a requirement.Key Responsibilities:
- To deal with queries regarding accommodation reservations, whether it be by phone or email and respond in a timely fashion.
- To maximise all sales opportunities by offering products and facilities to guests and enquirers.
- To ensure accurate and up to date information is available on all reservation systems.
- To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of agreed SOP’s for Reservations.
- Daily, weekly checking or reservations and arrivals lists to ensure all data is correct and accurate.
- To maintain effective communications with all Departments, specifically Front Office Sales and Accounts.
The right candidate will:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role, Opera would be an advantage
- Be willing to learn and then exceed in their role
- Have a passion for continued learning in the hospitality industry
- Enjoy working within a team and on own initiative at times
- Be naturally friendly with a willingness to help exceed guests expectations
- Have excellent administration and organisational skills
- Have a professional telephone manner
