The results of these projects are typically a proof of concept or a prototype that proves that acertain technology works.💼Job description:The research engineer contributes from his expertise in language-based AI to setting up a new
system architecture, process and proof-of-concept for accurate chatbots, relevant for a wide range of industry partners.Experience with knowledge-based technologies (e.g. machine readable ontologies) is a plus.More specifically, the research engineer will contribute to :Developing and testing RAG pipelines for different types of data sources
Developing agentic, knowledge-supported LLM architectures for different stakeholders
Exploring prompt engineering techniques
Leading and collaborating in the research team
Training and sharing knowledge with team members Required qualifications :📚Your profile and qualifications:Master or PhD in AI;
A recognizable link between the candidate’s track record and the research domains of Flanders Make by means of at least 1 relevant project in his/her academic or professional career
A clear motivation and great interest of the candidate in the proposed assignment
Research mindset with a focus on technology and results for the top industry
Professional communication in Dutch and English, both written and oral
