With a foundation in groundbreaking fundamental research, they are now accelerating efforts to drive practical applications that will shape the future of engineering and applied physics.This transition underscores the importance of the Research Engineer in Photonic Control Systems role – a pivotal position dedicated to enhancing experimental system stability, centralizing best practices, and empowering researchers to bridge the gap between innovation and application.As a Research Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the design and optimization of stabilized experimental systems based on fiber optics.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing innovative regulation and stabilization systems for fiber optic setups.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives: diagnosing issues, optimizing processes, and ensuring robust, stable equipment performance.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer: training team members and centralizing best practices for both current and future researchers, including developing a dedicated platform.
- Managing laboratory resources: overseeing equipment and infrastructure to maintain top-tier research quality.
Profile requiredDegree (PhD, MSc or BSc) in engineering, electronic/applied physics or equivalentScientific & technical skillsApplied Physics
