6 Months, Specific Purpose, Part-time Post

Position Summary

The research, funded by NOSP is a mixed methods national study with emergency response professionals’ (e.g. ambulance, fire service, volunteer first responders, gardai) to explore their experiences, and training and support needs when responding to a scene of suspected suicide. There is a large team of researchers and emergency responders involved in conducting the research and the RA role will be to support their work in all phases of the project, including managing documentation, data collection and analysis and liaising with emergency services. Good communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills are essential to this role. Experience of statistical analysis would be beneficial.

Project Title: Emergency Response Professionals’ Training and Support Needs when Responding to a Scene of Suspected Suicide. 

Post Duration: 6 Months.

Salary: €31,462 – €41,443 per annum, pro rata 0.4 FTE (IUA Researcher Assistant Salary Scale)
