CBRE Melbourne is seeking a research analyst to join their team. In collaboration with the wider research team you will partner with CBRE business lines and clients by providing an innovative range of research and analysis, serving as a trusted advisor across commercial and residential property markets in Australia and New Zealand.
The Opportunity:
Collect, review, evaluate, & analyse data, using internal databases, external data and macro-economic, financial and demographic information, ensuring insight and meaning is captured
Assisting in the development and implementation of data management processes and data-based outputs/data visualisation products
Prepare regular research reports and presentations, and other market analysis, including one-off consultancy assignments and more tailored research pieces to drive thought leadership
You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with Head of Research, Directors, Sector Leads and business stakeholders to generate ideas and produce innovative research materials that best meet business & client needs.
About you:
Degree qualified with ideally 1-2 years’ working experience in an economic, investment, policy or property research role
Interest in gaining exposure and building a comprehensive knowledge of commercial property markets
Ability to source data, analyse trends, create insights, and present results verbally, graphically and in writing
Strong numerical skills and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen interest in learning and using data analytics tools
Excellent communication skills and enjoy a high degree of integration and collaboration with stakeholders within our business.
