Remote Technologies Intern, South Africa – 12 Months Learner Contract
As the medical device market evolves, fueled by rapid technological advancements and shifting customer needs, we are creating this role to expand our team and execute our strategy for Expert Link Remote Connectivity Solutions according to customer needs while supporting internal operations and extending digital capabilities. This role will partner with both internal and external stakeholders to make Boston Scientific a leading player in remote connectivity solutions across Growth Emerging Markets South, aligned with our customer-centricity strategy and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-ground technical support to teams in the field, ensuring seamless setup, coordination, and operation of remote technologies during customer engagements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting and use case inquiries.
- Work closely with hospital staff to coordinate the effective use of remote technologies during procedures and engagements.
- Maintain regular communication with medical service companies to ensure compatibility, integration, and optimal use of remote technologies in the field.
- Support the adoption and implementation of Remote Technologies by following up on internal processes.
- Participate in internal communications and customer events to promote and raise awareness of our remote technologies.
Role Requirements
- Excellent collaboration skills and team player

- Fluency in English
- Competency in utilization of MS Office
- Preferably IT/Telecom/Biomedical Engineering background
- Ability to provide technical support through on-field presence, emails and virtual calls.
- This position requires occasional domestic travel.
