As a Remote Service Engineer at Philips, you will provide exceptional technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining our business targets.

Your role:

• Serve as an ambassador for Philips Digital Pathology by delivering top-tier remote technical support to customers, ensuring high satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through remote troubleshooting techniques, service information, and technical expertise, providing clear action plans when onsite support is required.
• Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations effectively to ensure accurate resolution and customer success.
• Collaborate with a high-performing, cohesive remote service team to support each other and optimize customer outcomes.

You’re the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired at least 4 years of experience in IT/network diagnosis, system connectivity, or remote service, with a minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing remote support role.
• Your skills include expertise in Microsoft Server, VMware, and Microsoft SQL, with preferred certifications in engineering, networking, or Microsoft technologies.
• You have a four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
• You’re an excellent communicator and problem solver with a customer-centric mindset, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a remote based role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, WY is $33.57 – $57.55/hour

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, WY: $35.34 – $60.58/hour

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, WA: $37.10 – $63.61/hour

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, MA, NJ, DC: $39.58 – $67.85/hour

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
