Job Title: Remote Pharmacist I

Job Description

As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for reviewing members’ Utilization Management (UM) requests, including formulary exceptions, prior authorization, step therapy, and quantity limit exceptions. You will use client-specific criteria to approve or deny requests while ensuring accurate and timely communication with providers and members. This role requires strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills. This position offers the potential for long-term employment and periodic evaluations every 6 months for contract extensions.

Hard Skills

• Two (2) years of work experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree

• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located

Soft Skills

• Strong clinical judgment

• Effective communication skills

• Detail-oriented

This is a fully remote position.
