Position: Instructional Aide (K-12), 2 positions open – hours vary, 1 position is approximately 20 hours during school weeks and 1 position is 30+ hours per week

Subjects: High School English, Algebra 1, Junior High and Elementary Support

Hours: 9:00 – 4:30pm (scheduled hours will vary – employees who regularly work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support in High School English and Algebra 1, ensuring students grasp key concepts and achieve their learning goals.
• Assist younger students with their coursework, offering guidance, encouragement, and clarification on assignments.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and identify areas where additional support is needed.
• Facilitate small group sessions or one-on-one instruction as required.
• Use digital tools and platforms effectively to engage students in a remote setting.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in High School English and Algebra 1.
• Experience working with students across various age groups, particularly in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Previous experience in an instructional aide role or similar is preferred.
