Remote Attorney in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role involves managing significant caseloads from inception to post-trial, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, as well as preparing litigation documents. The Attorney/Lawyer will also be responsible for conducting research, writing, and developing clients through relationship building.

Responsibilities:

• Managing significant caseloads from beginning to end

• Attending various legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Preparing necessary legal documents including pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, and motions

• Conducting research and writing related to various legal matters

• Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities

• Building client relationships through various methods

• Traveling to different courthouses and other locations as required

• Utilizing skills in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation in daily tasks and responsibilities

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Barred in Maryland

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as an Attorney/Lawyer

• Proven experience in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation

• Highly proficient in legal research with the ability to analyze complex legal documents

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Must have high ethical standards and professional integrity

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
