Principal People are supporting an international pharmaceutical company who are looking for a new member to join the growing safety department.The role will be a very operational safety position and will involve the safety management for a newly created facility alongside two other locations where you will have the opportunity to develop a positive safety culture.The business are incredibly supportive towards Health and Safety and you will be a key part of an established safety team who work very closely with one another. There is a great deal of flexibility within the role and you will have full autonomy with your diary.Regional Health and Safety Manager – £48k + Car Allowance – Logistics – Birmingham (Hybrid)The key duties include:
- Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety matters
- Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety
- To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites
- Travelling across 3 locations in the West Midlands to help develop a safety culture
- Creating positive relationships with the sites to help improve the HSE Culture across the region
- Working closely with underperforming sites and forming strategies to help them improve
