Regional Finance Manager (Fixed term for 12 months – secondment cover)

Starting salary for this position is £40,416 per annum (plus contributory pension)

About the role:
The Regional Finance Manager will deliver strategic financial business partnering services in support of a portfolio of our Middle East country programmes. The aim of the role is to proactively manage accounting tasks to ensure compliance with both internal and donor requirements, optimise financial efficiency, and ultimately support the regions programmatic goals. You will be instrumental in providing financial analysis, strategic guidance, and technical support to the region, promoting transparency, integrity, accountability, and effective financial management practices.
About you:
You will:
- Have significant financial experience in either commercial or NGO sectors;
- Be minimum part qualified(ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
Additionally, you will have advanced proficiency in Excel to add value to business processes and reporting. You will have exceptional analytical skills, including interpreting complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance personnel. You will be skilled in proactive problem-solving, and have an innovative and solution-oriented approach, along with the flexibility to travel to remote and insecure locations at short notice.
