Main objective
- To enhance ReFOCUS Media Labs’ online visibility and engagement by optimizing the website for search engines and managing effective Google Ads campaigns.
The role requires a proactive individual with skills in SEO, website optimization, and Google Ads management to improve the organization’s online presence and drive engagement. and reports to the ReFOCUS Marketing Manager.

Purpose
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEO & Website Optimization Intern to join our team. This is a voluntary role, ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, and Google Ads management. The intern will work closely with our marketing team to improve our website’s search engine ranking, optimize our online presence, and manage our Google Ads campaigns.
Responsibilities
SEO Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for website content optimization.
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, images, and internal links.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase domain authority and website traffic.
Website Optimization:
- Collaborate with the web development team to improve website speed, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.
- Ensure website content is engaging, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
- Update and maintain website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and multimedia elements.
Google Ads Management:
- Set up, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase website traffic and conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives and landing pages to identify the most effective strategies.
- Analyze campaign performance data and generate reports to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
Content Creation & Marketing:
- Assist in creating and publishing SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and social media updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and marketing strategies.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track website performance and user behavior.
- Provide regular reports on SEO and Google Ads performance, including insights and recommendations.
Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Knowledge of Google Ads and experience managing PPC campaigns is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
