JMC Aviation are working with an Engine Overhaul company based in Heathrow, looking to recruit a new Quality Engineer to join their team.This client is a leading MRO, specialising in Engine Overhaul and focusing on safety, quality and sustainable development. They are a diverse company that promote teamwork to drive their company towards success.This is a Permanent Position based in Heathrow.
37 hours per week, working Monday – Friday.Salary and Benefits– Competitive Salary– Life insurance, death in service cover is 6 x your salary.– AXA EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Service.– Access to gyms with up to 33% discount via AXA.– Cycle to work scheme (Employee Assistance Program).– Employee referral scheme.– Free parking on site.– Company pension contribution, 6% employee, 12% employer.– Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption pay (Paying above and beyond the statutory requirement).– Occupational Health– In depth training allowing our employees to progress within their remit.– Company sick payThe RoleThe Quality Engineer supports the Quality Manager in providing quality and safety oversight of the business, conducts and follows up on internal and external audits to ensure compliance across all areas and functions of the organisation.Other duties involve:– Responsible to coordinate the monthly safety and quality review meeting chaired by the Accountable Manager– Conduct regular product and process audits and monitor that any observed non-compliances are addressed using standard root cause analysis tools to drive corrective actions.– Collect, analyse, and summarize quality-related information and trends to prepare reports on product and process quality.– Administer the internal occurrence reporting system reporting system including oversight of a confidential reporting channel– Process requests for capability extension when required.– Manage the safety risk register– Monitor and Promotes aviation safety and SMS across all working environments– Manage all site training activities– Liaise with customer and supplier quality departments as needed.Skills and experience required.In order to be successful in this role the Quality Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Experience within a Part 145 Quality organization for at least 3 years– More than 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance– Have carried out training and either have experience as or are currently a qualified auditor– Have thorough knowledge of applicable UK CAA and EASA Part 145 regulations– Ability to effectively communicate and promote the safety and quality policy– Knowledge of process improvement methodology and application– Knowledge of SMS, Human Factors, Human performance/-limitations, and associated regulations as they apply to aircraft maintenance.– Possess the interpersonal skill necessary to develop and maintain effective communication with employees, customers, and all levels of management.– Ability to travel regionally and internationally on a regular basis– Valid Right to Work in the UK already in place.If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
