Morgan McKinley have exclusively partnered with a a life insurance and investment company based in Dublin. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for enhancing their QA landscape and will involve working within their Scrum teams to build and improve the company’s systems.Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement QA Framework: Lead the creation of structured quality assurance approaches, including standardized test procedures and documentation.
- Test Automation: Design and deploy automated testing systems to bolster efficiency and coverage.
- Agile Collaboration: Integrate QA processes seamlessly into Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with the software development lifecycle.
- Quality Advocacy: Champion a culture of quality across the organization, emphasizing holistic quality assurance beyond traditional testing.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance effectiveness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous documentation of test cases and results, delivering regular reports on QA activities and findings.
- Cross-functional Support: Collaborate closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure comprehensive quality coverage.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a QA role with a focus on agile methodologies.
Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective QA frameworks.
- Strong experience in automated testing tools and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and drive QA initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
