The Senior Product Line Leader – As the Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Product Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and performance of our PWR product line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet market demands, regulatory requirements, and company goals. Your role will involve defining product strategies, managing product lifecycle, and driving innovation to maintain our competitive edge in the nuclear industry. You will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, staffing, and safe execution of Outage Service’s projects at global Customer sites. This will include project management, commercial execution, task leadership, technical direction, work control and supervision, and human performance (HU).

The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the PWR product line, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of PWR products, including overseeing design, engineering, and testing processes to ensure high performance and safety standards.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and build strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage product line budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses to achieve financial targets and optimize resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers and field engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience with Nuclear Maintenance Projects
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience with Nuclear Maintenance Projects
  • Minimum of 2 years of PWR Outage Maintenance management experience

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to domestically and internationally plant sites
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb 10 flights of stairs twice per day
  • Ability to pass respirator fit test and physical
  • Ability to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain unescorted access
  • Ability to work under high stress conditions
  • Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas
  • Ability and willingness to work 12 hrs./day and 7 days/week when needed for project delivery

Desired Qualifications:

  • PWR Maintenance Experience
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools
  • Commercial Experience / Proposal Development and Cost Estimating
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling, maintenance, inspection and under vessel activities
  • Knowledge of both BWR and PWR vessels and components, Nuclear Steam Safety System (NSSS) and Containment Buildings
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent computer skills, and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software as well as enterprise systems such as P6, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and Oracle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Open communication style and proven ability to develop team relationships, including vendors and global teams
  • Ability to manage effectively through high stress conditions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of outputs

The base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $165,000k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Friday September 5th

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
