Project Manager – Logistics & Distribution
Location: London, Hybrid Working
Rate: £525 per day
Inside IR35 Project Duration – 3-6 monthsIndustry: Retail, Logistics, Distribution & Supply ChainMy client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an existing team supporting the delivery of digital transformation programme across a large scale and well known UK based business.The client is seeking a proven Project Manager who will ne responsible for the delivery of a number of key technology and operational workstreams across a large scale digital transformation programme. The right candidate will have a background in delivering similar customer facing projects within the Retail, eCommerce or Logistics industry.Responsibilities:

• End to end accountability for project delivery and managing the project delivery process
• Ensuring that selected suppliers deliver; acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality
• Act as the bridge between Technology and the business, ensuring project delivery is aligned defined requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrable Technology Project Management experience with a strong technical awareness to manage projects with a high degree of technology content
• Demonstrable experience of successfully leading Technology enabled change projects
• A team player who embraces collaboration and supporting other members of the team
• Ability to work with demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base
• Strong stakeholder and 3rd party (supplier) management
• An understanding and appreciation of how the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of a Technology project
• Excellent people management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment
• Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations and time critical activities
