As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionProject Manager – Onboarding (Rail Infrastructure)The Project Manager will oversee the efficient onboarding and offboarding of a large number of consultant staff across various geographical locations for this large-scale infrastructure project. They will ensure new team members are seamlessly integrated, receive the necessary training, and have access to the required hardware, facilities, and systems. Additionally, they will align new resources with the project’s goals and culture of collaboration and trust, ensuring they are prepared to contribute effectively. The role holder shall further lead the monitoring of the efficiency and appropriateness of onboarding processes and their impact on the Client Partner’s performance.The Project Manager shall ensure the requirements of the Client Partner Services Contract, including all terms and conditions are being adhered to and service obligations are fulfilled in line with the client’s requirements. They will, in collaboration with the client’s Directorate and under the leadership of Client Partner’s Mobilisation Manager ensure that appropriate internal structures are put in place to effectively onboard and offboard the required resources to facilitate the delivery of the Client Partner Services Contract to the satisfaction of the client.Principal responsibilities of the role:Oversee the day-to-day onboarding and offboarding of resources from multiple Consultants working in partnership to deliver the Client Partner services and ensure the ongoing and seamless delivery of these services.Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.Manage a team of direct reports supporting the on/offboarding functionImplement a system of continuous improvement whereby the on/offboarding processes can be scaled up and down to meet the growing demands of the Client organisationDevelop technical solutions and workflows for on/offboarding processes and lead multidisciplinary teams to design and implement these processesProvide guidance and training to teams and stakeholders as part of the onboarding processEnsure compliance with contract management standards, contractual terms and conditions including reporting requirements, as well as legal, regulatory, and client policies and procedures, in the execution of the contract administration activities for the Client Partner Services Contract.Attend and assist in preparation of any early warning or other meetings required by the Client Partner Services Contract.Prepare and review Onboarding material including handbooks, presentations and trainingWhere required, assist in setting up key contractual performance indicators and in the monitoring of same to aide in contract performance management specific to on/offboarding of personnel.Interface with the Client Partner commercial team to ensure accurate data on deployed resources is utilised in the payment application process ensuring that any payments due reflects true cost of works in accordance with the contract.Identify and mitigate any risks associated with the effective onboarding and offboarding of Client Partner resources.Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures, processes and systems to ensure compliance with the NEC 4 contract framework, assuming responsibility for the following:Management of large data sets relating to Client Partner resourcesKeeping records of risks and possible impacts thereofManaging change throughout the processMaintaining a Mobilisation Plan and Demobilisation PlanAssist in the management of any disputes that arises under the Client Partner Services Contract, ensuring that they are resolved in an efficient manner to ensure the seamless and continuous delivery of service.Qualifications7+ years’ experience within major capital programs with experience working on metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale and complexityFurther demonstrated experience / knowledge of the following is required:Providing strategic leadership and direction within a large and complex organisationDeveloping and implementing new processes within a large organisationAdministrating contractsDeveloping successful relationships that benefits programme performance and delivery metricsDriving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies, and standardsHave an understanding of design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectorsDealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reportingAdditionally, the Project Manager will be required to possess the following skills:Ability to work within multi-disciplinary functions and teams while ensuring that all onboarding management related tasks are conducted in a timely and accurate mannerAbility to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlinesStrong ability managing relationships, at executive and operational levelsAbility to drive team participation and high performanceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilityStrong team leadership skills with an ability to influence to drive effective decision makingStrong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlinesWell-developed interpersonal and communication skills along with high personal motivation and energyAbility to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processesFormal Education QualificationsMinimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., project management, engineering, supply chain, procurement, human resources, business, or related discipleLevel 9 Masters in relevant field would be advantageous (or equivalent masters)Additional InformationWhat we offer you:
