Posted on behalf ofVolklecWe are currently looking for a Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) for our client, an innovative UK-based manufacturing business specializing in sustainable battery production for electric vehicles. The successful candidate will manage communication and partnerships with Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, and stakeholders.The Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) will:

• Translate and interpret technical documents, reports, and agreements between Mandarin and English.
• Work closely with technical stakeholders to align project goals.
• Help resolve technical and operational challenges by coordinating between international teams.
• Provide insights on Chinese business culture, market trends, and industry developments.
• Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams.

The Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) will have:

• Technical background (degree or experience in Engineering, Battery Technology, Automotive, or Manufacturing preferred).
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) – essential for technical communication.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and supplier management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience working with Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, or business partners would be a plus.
• Experience in project coordination within an automotive, battery, or manufacturing environment.
