Barden is delighted to partner with a global SaaS provider in appointing a Project Lead to manage the implementation of their finance platform for enterprise clients around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with project management expertise, a finance background, and strong consulting experience to lead complex SaaS deployments in diverse client environments. This role will involve close interaction with senior finance leaders, so familiarity with finance functions and terminology is essential.“This role is central to our commitment to delivering best-in-class finance solutions to our clients, requiring a proactive approach to implementation, troubleshooting, and client collaboration.” – CTOABOUT THE ROLEAs the Project Lead, you will oversee the implementation of our SaaS finance platform, leading end-to-end project delivery, collaborating closely with client finance teams, and ensuring alignment with project milestones and goals.

• Collaborate with finance leaders and stakeholders within client organizations to understand their specific requirements. Tailor the platform to meet these needs and serve as the primary point of contact, guiding them through every stage of the project.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of SaaS implementation projects, from initiation to post-launch. Ensure project timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met using both agile and structured project management methodologies.
• Lead the configuration and deployment of the finance platform, working with technical teams to adapt solutions to client requirements. Ensure quality and alignment with client expectations throughout the project.
• Identify potential risks early and develop effective mitigation strategies. Address any technical or operational issues, coordinating with internal teams and client finance leaders to maintain project momentum.
• Partner with product management and engineering to incorporate client feedback into ongoing platform enhancements. Document project insights and lessons learned to refine implementation processes and elevate client success.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on SaaS implementation, finance systems, or ERP solutions.
• Proven background in business analysis or implementation consulting, leading software deployment projects for global clients.
• Direct experience working with finance functions and engaging with finance leadership.- Strong understanding of finance functions and terminology, with the ability to speak fluently with finance leaders and translate their requirements into actionable solutions.
• Project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.*
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, Scrum, or similar certification preferred, with additional knowledge of SaaS platforms as a plus.
