Job DescriptionPMWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team on a daily rate contract basis, working with a financial services client. This hybrid role requires on-site work in Dublin for part of the week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving key projects to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, business analysts, technical teams, and vendors.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with financial services regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
- Manage project changes and ensure any variations in scope or timeline are effectively communicated and agreed upon.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and communication between all project stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure proper handover upon project completion.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing projects in the financial services industry, ideally within a highly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) and tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources in line with project goals.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with both in-office and remote work environments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
