The OMVS business headquarters and factory are based in Yatala, Queensland and it is the Global Center of Competence which includes product lifecycle management, R&D, manufacturing, global business development and customer care for the overhead portfolio. The Project Coordinator role will plan, prepare and monitor technical projects covering all functions within the business to provide a single co-ordinated view of all activities. You will provide insight and accountability for technical staff to execute their activities in the optimal approach to meet the business needs.
The role will be based at our Center of Competence in Yatala, Queensland.
Job Overview:

Supports Technical Project Leads in clarifying customer requirements and specifications during the project planning phase

Assists in the development of project timelines, resource plans and budget estimates for all OMVS projects
-
Prepares project status reports, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders
-
Monitors project plans to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and to quality standards

Source, collate and compile data and information to support the end-to-end implementation process and preparation of project documentation

Assists the Technical Leads in prioritizing activities and optimizing methods to maintain project schedule and budget adherence

Manages non-standard production orders through the production process

Monitors project progress using project management software and tools, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets

Facilitates communication among team members, stakeholders, and managers

Checks and confirms project results are complete and fulfil the requirements, including closing out all documentation

Liaises with the Finance Manager to provide budget progress and non-conformance cost reporting to project sponsors

Develop and implement a common set of project management standards, processes and tools across the business including KPI reporting

Liaise with portfolio experts, tendering, engineering, finance, and R&D teams to ensure to optimize overall project delivery performance

Follow Siemens policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance in customer interactions.
Your profile:

Tertiary qualification in Project Management or similar
-
Proven experience in project administration, project co-ordination or similar roles

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project and document control

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

An ability to work effectively in a team environment

You reach consensus via a strong customer focus orientation, cooperative negotiation skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a confident demeanor
