Job description
Our client is seeking a Programme/Portfolio Manager,
Initial 6 Month contract and the position will be hybrid with weekly visits to site required in London.Current challenges being faced on this project:
- Governance Gaps: While some parts of the programme, have robust governance, others lack senior governance. Initiatives often start as philosophies and evolve into projects, approved in an ad-hoc manner without a structured decision-making process.
- Narrative and Strategic Thinking: The overall programme narrative needs to be shaped, and time must be allocated for strategic thinking to determine stakeholder engagement timing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: A detailed stakeholder engagement plan is required to outline who is engaged and when, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Programme/Portfolio Manager: A seasoned professional is needed to build and run the programme, capable of setting the vision, developing the narrative, and aligning stakeholders.
- Engagement and Communication: The manager must engage stakeholders at the right time and in the right way, keeping them updated and involved.
- Very experienced programme manager ideally in Trading and Risk/Finance.
