Excellent opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join a leading FMCG based in Westmeath.
Full time, permanent role.
Negotiable salary DOE.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily production activities to ensure schedules are met.
Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address any issues or delays.
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures.
Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety training and drills for production staff.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and inventory.
Prepare and submit reports on production performance to management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory/team lead experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
