TasksYour main tasks include, among others:
- Accountability for the team/s Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards as laid down by nominated authorities and corporate/company procedures
- Challenge the team to continuously strive for higher standards and to exceed defined targets

- Interpret and ensure clarity of business decisions within your team

Behind the scenesWe are one of the three landing gear maintenance facilities within the LHT network.Situated close to Heathrow airport, the 13,400 square meters shop is fully equipped with machinery for all aircraft undercarriage related work, including machining, bush manufacturing, plating shops and is capable to accommodate any common landing gear type.Join our Team in Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK!What characterizes us as a team is our diversity, mutual assistance, and human approach. - Degree relatable to engineering or;
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) preferably in an engineering or aircraft maintenance discipline or;
- A management or business qualification or;
- Demonstrable equivalent experience leading technical teams
- Evidence of people management experience within a operational, unionised environment
- Proven experience in performance management
- Coached and identified development areas for self and teams
- Broad-based knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements
- Extensive experience in budgetary issues, business measures, report and business case writing skills
- Must possess a legal work permit in the UK
- Must be willing to work shifts
