Production Assistant Casual in Wahgunyah, Australia

Based at Wahgunyah, the Nestle Uncle Tobys factory produces nutritious snacks and cereals.

In this dynamic role, you will support the team with production targets, packing and cleaning duties, operate-maintain food manufacturing processes and systems. You will be a reliable team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, who has the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Previous production experience and forklift license would be desirable but not a requirement as full training will be provided to the successful applicants.

About the Role

Assist in achieving line standards associated with production runs and the standard conditions & routines.

Achieve a “zero injury, defect, waste” mind-set & promote behaviours that have a positive impact on Safety Health Environment & Quality.

Ensuring all work carried out adheres to quality, compliance, safety, reliability and cost requirements.

Skills and experience

Reliability and a high degree of flexibility is required including the ability to work shift work including weekends.

Valid forklift license will be highly regarded.

*Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

* Upon progression on all steps, Successful candidates are required to attend mandatory fulltime 4-6weeks on site training.
