Product Specialist, Clinical Diagnostics (QLD & NT)
Reports to: Commercial Leader, Clinical Diagnostics (CDD) & Transplant Diagnostic (TDX)
Position Location: Brisbane, QLD
About the Role:
A technical sales role primarily focused in-field, where your main tasks will be to champion and grow existing customers while developing new business opportunities, generating leads and closing sales. You will travel across metropolitan, regional, and interstate locations, meeting with customers and other relevant team members, to implement commercial strategies, lead sales pipelines, and achieve or exceed targets.
What You’ll Do:
Sales Execution

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets for QLD and NT.

Provide quarterly sales forecasts
-
Craft and implement successful territory plans.

Employ data analytics to optimize sales and margins.
-
Provide competitor intelligence and market knowledge to the broader teams
-
Maintain up-to-date information within the CRM (salesforce.com) including customer activities and an accurate opportunity funnel with detailed sales processes
Product Specialist Expertise

Understand customer requirements and applications at a technical level.

Assist Product Management with inventory and product forecasting.

Conduct product demonstrations and seminars.

Collaborate with Technical and Service teams to resolve technical issues.

Attend training events to maintain relevant skills.

Participate in industry meetings and conferences.
Keys to Success:
Education
- University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience
-
3-5 years in Pathology/diagnostic laboratories or relevant clinical settings.
-
Previous sales experience preferred
-
Technical understanding of diagnostics markets.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Highly motivated, focused, and resourceful.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver’s license required
